The videos we don’t overthink
I’ve been wondering why certain videos feel easier to watch than others, even if they’re not particularly exciting or meaningful. Sometimes I’ll click on something and instantly feel like I can just “stay” with it, while other things I close after a few seconds. Do you have videos that you watch without overthinking at all?

Yeah, I definitely have those. I tend to prefer very simple, steady
videos — nothing too loud, nothing too fast, and nothing that requires constant attention. I think what I like most is predictability. If I know the video won’t suddenly shift or demand a reaction, I can actually relax while watching it. I also noticed I rewatch similar types of videos instead of constantly searching for new ones, because familiarity makes it easier to unwind.
